Knowles Precision Devices is seeking a skilled Welder to join our manufacturing team. The role focuses on TIG and Laser welding of components with thicknesses from .040” to .25”, reading blueprints, and ensuring parts meet critical weld specs.

You will work with calipers, micrometers, and scales, follow safety protocols, and collaborate with the team to drive continuous process improvement in a dynamic, quality-driven environment.

Competenze

• Proficient in TIG welding of thin gauge sheet steel and aluminum.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and welding callouts.
• Knowledge of metals and alloys and their properties.
• Familiarity with measurement tools (calipers, micrometers) and inspection practices.
• Commitment to safety procedures and PPE usage.
• Ability to work in a team and contribute to continuous improvement.

Mansioni

• Perform quality welds using TIG and/or Laser processes.
• Read blueprints and welding callouts to guide fabrication.
• Use calipers, micrometers, and scales for inspection and verification.
• Operate welding equipment and occasional flame-cutting equipment.
• Ensure fixturing and fit-up prior to welding for proper alignment.
• Adhere to safety protocols and PPE requirements.
