Job summary

Knowles-Corporation is seeking a full-time on-site Welder in New Bedford, MA. The ideal candidate will perform TIG and Laser welds on thin-gauge steel and aluminum, read blueprints, verify dimensions with calipers and micrometers, and adhere to safety protocols in a collaborative manufacturing environment.

You will contribute to process improvements and support a dynamic team focused on quality and efficiency. A related associate degree or equivalent experience is expected.

Qualifications

• Proficient in TIG welding of thin gauge sheet steel and aluminum.
• Ability to read blueprints and welding callouts accurately.
• Knowledge of metals and alloy characteristics and their applications.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality welds using TIG and Laser processes.
• Read and interpret blueprints and welding callouts to ensure proper welds.
• Use measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers to verify dimensions.
• Maintain safety protocols and PPE; work collaboratively to improve processes.
