Job summary

Leidos in Chantilly, VA is hiring a Tier II Network Technician to support LAN/WAN installations, incident response, and change management. The role requires TS/SCI with Poly, DoD 8570 IAT Level 2, and up to 25% travel.

You're expected to have extensive TCP/IP knowledge, routing basics, and familiarity with Cisco IOS/Juniper JUNOS. Office presence is required 5 days a week at the posted location.

Qualifications

• Requires TS/SCI with Poly clearance.
• Ten years of combined work/education experience.
• DoD 8570 IAT Level 2 certification required.
• Must understand TCP/IP and OSI model.
• Ability to travel up to 25%.
• Driver's license and clean driving record required.
• Office presence five days per week; no relocation.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain LAN/WAN devices at client sites.
• Respond to and resolve incident tickets.
• Draft and implement standard network change requests.
• Assist Tier III network engineers on incidents and projects.
• Maintain topology drawings and asset records.
• Coordinate network operations, repairs, or upgrades.
• Knowledge of Cisco IOS, Juniper JUNOS, and other OS.
• Familiar with Layer 3 protocols (OSPF, BGP, VRRP, etc.).
• Possibly up to 10% COMSEC responsibilities.
