Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Tier II Network Technician to support design, testing, and upgrades for client networks in the Digital Modernization Sector. Responsibilities include installing and maintaining LAN/WAN devices, incident response, and change management.

Travel up to 20% and potential weekend support may be required. The position requires high-level DoD clearance, strong Cisco/Juniper experience, and the ability to work both independently and with teams in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI CI Poly clearance required.
• 10 years of combined work history and education relevant to the role.
• DoD 8140 IAT Level 2 compliance.
• Ability to travel up to 20% and work flexible hours, including weekends.
• Independent and collaborative work capability.

Responsibilities

• Support installation and maintenance of client LAN/WAN devices.
• Respond to incidents; demonstrate troubleshooting; communicate with team.
• Complete tasks within SLOs/SLAs.
• Draft and implement standard network change requests.
• Provide support to Tier III engineers for incidents and projects.
• Perform topology updates; maintain asset records; conduct inventory.
• Coordinate operations, maintenance, repairs, or upgrades; familiar with CISCO/Juniper RMA.
• Experience with Layer 1/2/3 networking concepts and protocols.
• IOS upgrades for Cisco/Juniper/Brocade/Foundry; use Visio; familiarize with ServiceNow and Confluence.
