Job summary

Ubiquity is seeking a Tier II Technician to support deployment, activation, and advanced troubleshooting of fiber-based internet services. The role serves as the escalation point for field operations and CSR teams to ensure reliable turned-up services and high performance.

The position is hybrid (remote and in Keller, TX) and requires 5+ years of experience in a related field; exempt, full-time employment. The candidate will analyze network data, assist in MOPs, and guide internal teams for

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; associate degree or technical cert preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in related industry.
• Strong troubleshooting skills across wired and wireless networks.
• Experience configuring CPE (modems, routers, Wi-Fi, VoIP) remotely.

Responsibilities

• Perform remote fiber service turn-ups and activation tasks.
• Verify optical levels, signal quality, and service parameters.
• Coordinate with field techs to resolve issues and escalate when needed.
• Validate provisioning of internet, voice, and circuits across platforms.
• Troubleshoot fiber connectivity issues and process escalations.
• Document steps and resolutions in ticketing systems.
