Job summary

Surf Internet is seeking a Tier 1 Service Delivery Technician to install FTTH services at residential locations and provide frontline support. You will perform basic troubleshooting, map Wi-Fi signals, and ensure customer satisfaction.

You will travel across the service region, handle equipment weighing 75+ pounds, and maintain safety and documentation standards. Strong communication and reliability are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 100% of the time across the service region.
• Experience with CRM software or productivity tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform FTTH fiber installations and some service repair calls at residential locations.
• Conduct fiber signal performance testing using a signal meter and test cord.
• Execute Wi-Fi signal mapping and mesh extension recommendations.
• Troubleshoot basic fiber drop issues and connectivity problems.
• Explain service details and promote Surf Internet products as needed.
• Monitor schedules, requisition equipment, and document service tickets.
