Job summary

Solutions Development Corporation is seeking a Tier I IT Support specialist to provide frontline assistance for DoD Navy users at NSWCDD (Dahlgren, VA). Occasional telework is available, and the role requires active DoD Secret clearance.

You will handle incidents, access requests, and user guidance while maintaining security and SOP documentation. Job candidates should have solid experience in PC- and phone-based service desks, Windows and MS Office, and knowledge of SharePoint.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in a PC- and telephone-based Service Desk environment.
• Minimum 2 years of user account provisioning and access management.
• Minimum 2 years of Windows OS and MS Office experience.
• Experience prioritizing incidents and meeting SLAs.
• Experience with SharePoint for document management.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier I application support to Navy users via phone, email, and service management tools.
• Document, troubleshoot, and resolve incidents and service requests per SLAs.
• Monitor ticket queues and prioritize / resolve user requests.
• Process user access requests and permission updates per DoD security requirements.
• Escalate complex issues to Tier II, with complete documentation for resolution.
• Assist users with application functionality and navigation.
• Maintain knowledge articles and SOPs; communicate planned maintenance and outages.
