St. Charles Community College in Missouri seeks a full-time Tier 2 Technical Support Analyst to analyze user software needs, support classroom AV systems, and provide high-level technical assistance for campus operations on the Dardenne Creek Campus and off-site locations.

The role requires deploying software via SCCM, configuring Windows Server environments, and training Tier 1 staff. You will manage AV equipment for events and maintain system documentation.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience deploying software to computers using SCCM and basic hardware knowledge.
• Understanding of Microsoft Windows Server environment including Active Directory and group policies.
• Experience documenting standard operating procedures and administrative functions.
• Self-motivated, task oriented, and able to function with minimal supervision.
• Conceptual knowledge of network and physical security principles.

Responsabilités

• Meets with users to determine specifications and network configurations needed for new and existing software.
• Provides instructional and technical support to staff, faculty, and students for computers, AV needs, printing and other hardware and software.
• Analyzes information and works with vendors to resolve technical issues.
• Deploys images and reviews policies that need to be set up; verifies software licenses.
• Software installation on a network or standalone.
• Set up and troubleshoots network connectivity and proper configuration.
• Record system documentation for procedures and training.
• Set up and tests software on new operating systems.
• Trainer for Tier 1 Technology Support Analysts.
• Provides basic audio/visual equipment maintenance.
• Installs, administers, and operates all audio/visual equipment for video production activities.
• Manages the TV Studio and assists faculty with classroom activities.
