IT Voice, a trusted IT solutions provider in Eau Claire, seeks a Tier 2 Technician to install, maintain, and repair IT infrastructure while delivering reliable first-line support.

This full-time, on-site role requires proactive problem solving and collaboration with a growing team dedicated to excellence and client satisfaction. Applicants should have 3+ years in IT and pursue CompTIA certifications, with ability to lift up to 70 pounds during site visits.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in IT, with proficiency in system maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Must live within commuting distance of Eau Claire, WI.
• Pursuing or holding CompTIA+ and CompTIA Network+ certifications.
• Experience using a ticketing system.
• Broad knowledge of computer systems, software, hardware, networking, and communications.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site technical support during weekly client visits.
• Install, configure, and maintain computers and related equipment.
• Document network changes and maintain inventory records.
• Maintain network documentation and diagrams.
• Coordinate records for users, security, and assets.
• Evaluate hardware/software upgrades and network updates.
• Lead projects with moderate scope and guide staff.
• Stay updated on IT trends and best practices.
• Be available for on‑call as needed.
