Salem Health is seeking a Tier 1 IT Support professional in Salem, OR to serve as the first contact for customers needing technical assistance. You will troubleshoot issues across computers, printers, phones, and applications, ensuring timely resolutions and high customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Two years of directly related experience in either contact center, service desk, desktop, or customer service.
• Associate degree preferred; two years of college coursework in hardware/software and operating systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier 1 technical support via phone, email, and other channels.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with computers, printers, phones, mobile devices, CIM carts, applications, and user access.
• Respond to customer inquiries, document issues, and provide timely follow-up and resolution.
• Prioritize and manage service requests according to established protocols and timelines.
• Escalate complex issues to appropriate IT resources.
• Maintain accurate incident documentation and records of services provided.
• Support user access management and application-related requests.
• Assist with IT projects and system maintenance activities as assigned.
• Develop proficiency in supported applications, OS, and software tools.
