Job summary

Camden County College is hiring a Help Desk Representative – Tier 1 for the Office of Information Technology at the Blackwood Campus. You will provide user support, troubleshoot hardware/software, and log help desk interactions.

A flexible schedule including occasional evening/weekend shifts is required. A minimum Associate’s degree or equivalent experience is expected, with strong communication and customer-service orientation.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or equivalent work experience is required.
• Strong communication skills in oral and written form.
• Customer-focused interpersonal abilities are essential.
• Familiarity with basic software/hardware operations and call tracking tools.
• Ability to collaborate with teammates and adapt to shifts.

Responsibilities

• Respond to technical help requests in person, by phone, or electronically.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues.
• Research questions using available resources.
• Advise users on appropriate actions and follow help desk procedures.
• Log interactions and escalate when needed.
• Prepare activity reports and stay current with system updates.
• Occasional night and weekend support may be required.
