Position pays an hourly rate and requires flexibility for nights, weekends, and holidays. The venue is part of a multi-use sports and entertainment complex, with responsibilities including ticketing operations, event settlements, and staff training.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of experience in box office/ticketing at a sports & entertainment venue is preferred.
• Demonstrate exceptional skills in customer relations, communication, and problem-solving.
• Perform mathematical calculations and handle financial transactions rapidly and accurately in a fast-paced environment.
• Operate computerized ticketing system and a personal computer using Windows and Microsoft Office software.

Responsibilities

• Supervise all ticket sellers and provide training and information to ensure staff well-versed in policies and procedures.
• Coordinate with Box Office Manager to meet day’s and shift’s needs.
• Assist with monitoring and reconciliation of temporary ticket sellers.
• Process ticket sales at the box office as needed.
• Answer questions about event schedules, prices, and ticket policies.
• Balance transactions for the day and prepare reports before departure.
• Verify receipts and deposit them in secure area.
• Record and report any overages/shortages to Box Office Manager.
• Work extended hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Resolve patron complaints and maintain high service standards.
