Job summary

Mississippi Mud Monsters is hiring a hands-on Ticketing Operations Manager to own the ticketing system and drive revenue. You will build events, manage inventory, and support the sales team while personally selling tickets and achieving revenue targets.

You will oversee box office operations on game days, handle customer needs, and produce regular reporting on sales, attendance and inventory. This role combines operations with proactive sales in a dynamic sports environment at Trustmark Park.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of experience in ticketing, box office operations, sports sales or a closely related field.
• Experience working within a ticketing platform. TIXR experience is a plus, but not required.
• A sales-driven mindset and comfort carrying an individual revenue goal.
• Demonstrated ability to prospect, build relationships and close business.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment.
• Strong analytical skills and comfort working with ticket sales, revenue and attendance data.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Own the Ticketing System: Build, manage and maintain ticketed events in TIXR, including Mud Monsters games and other events.
• Generate Revenue: Carry personal sales goals and actively sell season tickets, ticket plans, groups and other ticket products.
• Support the Sales Team: Work with account executives to process orders, manage inventory and offers.
• Manage Inventory: Maintain seating inventory, holds, ticket products, pricing and availability.
• Lead the Box Office: Oversee box office operations on game days and event days.
• Take Care of the Customer: Handle will-call, exchanges, reprints and account questions with professionalism.
• Own the Numbers: Produce reporting on ticket sales, revenue, attendance and inventory.
• Build an Upsell Culture: Train staff to recognize opportunities to boost revenue.
• Keep the Details Clean: Assist with payment follow-up, ticket fulfillment and reconciliation.
