Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED and at least one year of related experience.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel; ability to access payroll and timekeeping via a web-based system.
• Attention to detail and creative problem solving; strong verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of the thrift store retail environment, including staff, merchandise, donations and store operations.
• Assist thrift store manager in management of store clerks, including work schedules, training and supervision.
• Ensure compliance with Federal, State and Salvation Army policies and rules.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for customers and employees throughout the facility.
• Handle cash register operations, sales reports, and end-of-day banking documents.
• Drive is an essential function of this position.
• Ensure donations are processed properly following established procedures.
• Resolve customer issues promptly and courteously.
• All other duties as assigned.
