Job summary

The Salvation Army Seaside Thrift Store in Seaside, CA is seeking a Store Manager to lead daily operations, drive sales, and uphold program integrity of the ARC.

The role requires at least a high school diploma, 3+ years of retail management, and strong supervisory and customer service skills. You will mentor Beneficiaries and coordinate with program staff.

The Store operates seven days a week; willingness to work flexible hours including evenings and holidays is essential.

Qualifications

• Must have High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Retail supervisory/management experience required (3+ years).
• Basic MS Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Valid driver's license and ability to pass MVR/background checks.

Responsibilities

• Meet sales and income budgets while controlling expenses to maximize profitability.
• Plan and direct day-to-day store operations including POS, inventory and donations.
• Hire, train and coach store staff; conduct performance evaluations with HR.
• Schedule staff to ensure coverage including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Maintain high levels of customer and donor service and community relations.
• Ensure security of store currency, inventory, and property.
