Job summary

The Salvation Army Rochester Red Wing Thrift Store is seeking a Store Manager to oversee daily operations, supervise staff, manage inventory and pricing, and drive sales through merchandising and promotions. The Store Manager ensures a clean, organized environment, delivers excellent customer service, and collaborates with donors and the community to maximize impact.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Two or more years of store management experience.
• Must pass background checks, possess a valid driver's license, and meet MVR requirements.
• Previous experience managing budgets and processing cash.

Responsibilities

• Store Operations Management (opening/closing, cash handling, staff supervision, policy compliance).
• Inventory & Merchandising (sort, price, display to maintain optimal levels).
• Customer Service (address inquiries/complaints, maintain welcoming atmosphere).
• Sales & Marketing (merchandising strategies, promotions, events to drive revenue).
• Facility Maintenance (ensure building and property are well maintained).
• Community & Donor Relations (build relationships with donors/partners).
