Job summary

The Salvation Army ARC Anaheim is hiring a Store Manager at our Huntington Beach location to oversee daily operations, drive sales, and manage staff. You will lead a team, ensure excellent customer service, and align with ARC safety and budgeting standards.

Responsibilities include scheduling, training, payroll oversight, and maintaining security and compliance while promoting the organization’s mission to Do The Most Good in the local community.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 3 years of supervisor/management experience in retail (thrift preferred).
• Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Valid Driver’s license with a clean MVR and proof of insurance.
• Pass background check including criminal history and sex offender registry.
• Strong communication with management, staff, customers, and donors.

Responsibilities

• Lead store operations to meet sales and income budgets while controlling expenses.
• Oversee opening/closing, POS, inventory, and donations per ARC standards.
• Hire, train, and coach staff; conduct evaluations with HR support.
• Schedule staff to ensure coverage and coordinate meetings; manage payroll records.
• Drive customer and donor satisfaction and community relations to support program goals.
• Ensure security of currency, inventory, and building; maintain safety and compliance.
