Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 3 years of supervisor/management experience in a retail environment (thrift experience preferred).
• Basic understanding of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Valid Driver’s license, pass MVR check, proof of insurance, and access to a motor vehicle.
• Must pass background check (Criminal History and Sex Offender Registry).
• Ability to communicate effectively with management, store employees, customers and donors.

Responsibilities

• Be accountable for meeting sales and income budget goals while managing expenses to maximize profitability.
• Plan and direct day-to-day operations of the store, including opening/closing, POS operations, inventory, and donations.
• Hire, train and supervise store staff, provide coaching and evaluations in coordination with HR.
• Schedule employees to ensure proper coverage and conduct team meetings.
• Maintain high levels of customer and donor satisfaction through excellent service and community relations.
• Oversee Back Room Processing and ensure timely inventory processing and merchandising standards.
• Ensure store deliveries and inventory are on the sales floor promptly.
• Protect store currency, inventory and property; manage cash deposits and security.
• Attend ARC Monthly Safety Meetings and participate in safety programs.
• May transfer to other stores based on business needs.
