Job summary

The Humane Society of Southern Arizona (HSSA) is seeking a Thrift Store Associate to support daily operations, customer service, cash handling, and merchandising at the Thrift Store location in Tucson. You will assist donors, greet guests, and help maintain a safe, organized shopping environment.

The role may involve training volunteers and operating the HSSA vehicle as needed. Ideal candidates bring a High School diploma, retail experience is a plus, and a valid Arizona driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Retail experience preferred but not required.
• Must have a valid AZ driver's license and acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Represent HSSA professionally and maintain excellent customer service.
• Handle cash, credit transactions, and daily bookkeeping tasks.
• Merchandise, sort, price, and display merchandise; assist donations.
• Train or supervise volunteers and operate the store vehicle as needed.
