Job summary

The Salvation Army USA Western Territory is hiring for a SALES ASSOCIATE/MATERIAL HANDLER at the Casa Grande Thrift Store. You will greet customers, assist donors, stock and merchandise items, and help keep the store clean and organized.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Must pass background check including Criminal History and Sex Offender Registry.
• Ability to communicate effectively with management, employees, customers, and donors.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and donors with a friendly, helpful attitude and provide prompt, courteous assistance.
• Stock priced items and merchandise on the sales floor.
• Maintain the store and donation area; perform cleaning duties as assigned by management.
• Follow POS/Cash Register policies and TSA procedures while handling cash transactions.
• Maintain safety and compliance standards and attend monthly store meetings.
• Receive, unload, and stock incoming inventory items accurately and efficiently.
• Inspect products for defects and damages to ensure QA.
• Assist donors with removing donated items from vehicles and provide receipts.
• Sort donated material into proper containers and stack items as instructed by management.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
