Job summary

Georgia‑Pacific is hiring a Maintenance Supervisor in Janesville, WI to support the Maintenance Manager and lead a three‑shift team of about 18 employees. You will ensure safe, efficient maintenance of buildings, grounds, and equipment while meeting regulatory requirements.

The role emphasizes training, cost‑effective operations, and collaboration with contractors and OEMs to keep facilities up to code and production running smoothly. Experience in manufacturing maintenance is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in maintenance in a manufacturing/industrial setting.
• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulics or pneumatics concepts.
• Previous leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Train and lead maintenance technicians safely and efficiently.
• Ensure safe and efficient use of buildings, machines and support equipment.
• Repair, service and maintain manufacturing equipment and facilities.
• Review operation of plant equipment to minimize downtime and identify improvements.
• Procure and manage repair parts inventory.
• Coordinate with contractors and vendors to ensure code-compliant work.
