Job summary

Georgia-Pacific is hiring a Maintenance Supervisor in Janesville, WI to support the Maintenance Manager in achieving safety, quality, and uptime goals. You will oversee a three-shift maintenance team (~18 employees) and ensure all equipment, buildings, and grounds are maintained to code and company standards.

You will train technicians, schedule work, coordinate parts, and work with contractors and OEMs to safely install, repair, and improve equipment.

Qualifications

• Experience in a maintenance role within a manufacturing/industrial environment.
• Understanding of mechanical, electrical, hydraulics and/or pneumatics concepts.
• Leadership experience within a manufacturing/industrial environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead a maintenance team across three shifts, including weekends.
• Train technicians and ensure safe, cost-effective maintenance.
• Repair and service production equipment, buildings, and grounds.
• Review plant equipment operation to minimize downtime and identify improvements.
• Coordinate parts inventory and contractor/OEM work for safe operation and repairs.
