Job summary

United Staffing Associates has been engaged by a food production company to identify an experienced Production Manager to lead third-shift operations in a fast-paced packing and processing environment.

This is a hands-on leadership opportunity for a production professional who can lead people, manage daily operations, and keep production running safely, efficiently, and on schedule. The position offers a salary range of $75,000–$80,000 per year DOE and benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant industry experience.
• Experience supervising and leading a large production team.
• Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work third shift and additional hours as production needs require.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate third-shift production operations.
• Lead, train, motivate, and hold production employees accountable.
• Monitor workflow and staffing to meet daily production goals.
• Ensure production processes and procedures are followed consistently and efficiently.
• Monitor product quality and support quality-control requirements.
• Maintain a strong focus on food safety, employee safety, quality, and productivity.
• Identify production issues and take appropriate corrective action.
• Minimize downtime and help maintain efficient production flow.
• Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, Sanitation, Warehouse, and other departments.
• Assist with production planning, scheduling, and operational priorities.
• Maintain accurate production records and communicate shift results to management.
• Promote a positive, organized, and safety-focused work environment.
