Job summary

DSJ Global is seeking a hands-on Production Manager to oversee 3rd shift operations in a fast-paced packaging/manufacturing setting. The role focuses on efficiency, safety, quality, and leading teams to deliver strong performance.

Responsibilities include supervising supervisors, managing staffing and training, enforcing safety standards, tracking KPIs, and coordinating with maintenance to minimize downtime. Strong leadership and warehouse knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of warehouse leadership experience.
• 2+ years in a production supervisory role.
• Strong leadership and organizational abilities.
• Knowledge of inventory systems and safety rules.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily warehouse and production operations including receiving, order assembly, routing/dispatch, inventory control, and transportation coordination.
• Supervise, coach, and develop supervisors and team leaders for strong execution and accountability.
• Manage full employee lifecycle: hiring, onboarding, training, performance management, and disciplinary actions.
• Promote a safety culture through compliance, monitoring, and continuous improvement.
• Establish and track performance metrics to improve efficiency, accuracy, and customer satisfaction.
• Provide regular reporting and insights to leadership; ensure accurate documentation and data entry.
• Optimize warehouse layout, storage, and inventory rotation to reduce loss.
• Identify and implement process and equipment improvements to boost operational effectiveness.
• Manage warehouse budget, including forecasting and cost control.
• Support operations by operating equipment and stepping into production roles as needed.
• Troubleshoot production issues and coordinate with maintenance to minimize downtime.
