Qualifications

• Four-year degree in mechanical, aerospace, or equivalent technical field.
• Passion for hardware development in fast-paced, hands-on environments.
• Proven ability to design, build, and test hardware from scratch.
• US Citizenship or Green Card.

Responsibilities

• Work with the engineering team to design, analyze, build, and test satellite hardware and/or software.
• Support design trades balancing performance, resources, risk, cost, and schedule.
• Perform thermal analysis from simple to detailed on hardware types.
• Design, evaluate, procure and test thermal solutions (heaters, heat pipes, TIMs, coatings).
• Develop integration and assembly processes to meet thermal design intent.
• Plan and run thermal vacuum testing at component and spacecraft level.
