The role requires a four-year degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering and a passion for hardware development. U.S. citizenship or permanent residency is required.

Qualifications

• Four-year degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering or equivalent.
• Passion and enthusiasm for hardware development.
• Demonstrated ability to design, build, and test hardware from scratch.
• US Citizenship or Green Card eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Work with engineering to design, analyze, build, and test satellite hardware and/or software.
• Support design trades balancing performance, resources, risk, cost, and schedule.
• Perform thermal analysis from simple to detailed on various hardware types.
• Design, evaluate, procure and test thermal solutions such as heaters and heat pipes.
• Develop processes for integration and assembly ensuring thermal design intent.
• Plan and run thermal vacuum testing and verification at component and spacecraft level.
