Job summary

Exponent is seeking a Thermal Sciences Associate for our Thermal Sciences Practice in Menlo Park, CA. This role applies foundational engineering and scientific methods to real-world problems in failure analysis, risk mitigation, and product development.

You will analyze data, perform experiments and modeling, review client work, and prepare reports and proposals while coordinating with cross‑functional teams to deliver timely insights.

Qualifications

• PhD required in a relevant engineering field with thermo dynamics and heat transfer knowledge.
• Strong ability to apply fundamental concepts to new problems.
• Hands-on experience designing and executing experimental programs.
