Qualifications

• Must learn new procedures, processes and tools while progressing projects.
• Must understand design control and configuration control concepts.
• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• Must be able to obtain/maintain DOE or DOD security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Perform thermal analysis of advanced core designs with various fuel systems and coolants.
• Control studies from preconceptual to reference design.
• Conduct core thermal analyses from quick scoping to design quality.
• Support development of core thermal modeling, simulation, and optimization.
• Interact with neutronic core design, fuel performance, mechanical, and systems engineers.
• Collaborate in a core design team on multiple projects.
