Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or physics is required.
• U.S. citizen and able to obtain DOE/DOD security clearance.
• Ability to learn a variety of procedures, processes and tools.
• Understanding of design control and configuration management.

Responsibilities

• Perform thermal analysis of advanced core designs with multiple fuel/coolant types.
• Manage studies from preconceptual to reference design.
• Develop core thermal modeling, simulation, and optimization tools.
• Collaborate with neutronic, fuel performance, mechanical, and systems engineers.
• Contribute to multiple projects within a core design team.
