BWX Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Neutronics Analysis Engineer to join the Advanced Technologies Office in Lynchburg, VA.

This onsite role focuses on developing nuclear reactor analysis methods, validating data, and supporting multiple projects with a high-performing team. The candidate will work with Monte Carlo and deterministic tools, collaborate with R&D and engineering teams, and contribute to innovative nuclear solutions for global security and energy.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in engineering (mechanical, nuclear or similar).
• Minimum 2 years of experience in neutronics.
• Excellent verbal and written communication for technical reports and presentations.
• Familiar with MCNP, OpenMC or Serpent and/or SCALE.
• U.S. Citizen.
• Ability to obtain/maintain DOE/DOD security clearance.

Responsabilidades

• Analyze experimental configurations to reduce uncertainty and improve analysis tools.
• Coordinate between R&D, design/analysis, and experimental groups.
• Work on studies from experimental planning to data processing and reactor design impacts.
• Contribute to a neutronics design team across projects.
