Job summary

Priority Power seeks a Manager, Project Development – Thermal Generation to lead the development of gas-fired power projects across multiple sites. You will oversee permitting, interconnection, budgeting, and schedules while coordinating with cross‑functional teams and external consultants.

Qualifications

• The candidate will manage thermal generation projects from concept to construction handoff.
• Experience with gas-fired technology and regulatory permitting is required.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities are essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of utility-scale, gas-fired power projects including turbines and CHPs.
• Coordinate permitting (TCEQ/EPA) and interconnection with ERCOT/ISOs.
• Develop plans, budgets, and schedules; manage stakeholder communications.
• Oversee environmental studies and fuel-supply feasibility efforts.
• Travel 25%–50% as needed to support site visits and meetings.
