Job summary

Lunar Outpost Inc. in Golden, Colorado is seeking a Thermal Engineering Intern to gain hands-on experience in aerospace thermal analysis, heat transfer in lunar environments, and thermal testing.

Interns will use the NASA standard tool Thermal Desktop to model real-world scenarios and support flight projects focused on the cis-lunar economy. Job description

As a Thermal Engineering Intern at Lunar Outpost, you will gain experience and training in Aerospace Thermal Analysis, familiarity with practical space/lunar environment heat transfer principles, aerospace thermal hardware, and thermal testing. In addition, interns will use the NASA standard thermal analysis tool, Thermal Desktop, to perform real-world thermal modeling and analysis tasks in support of Lunar Outpost's several flight projects focused on the expanding cis-lunar economy. All interns will work directly alongside full-time engineers on real, engaging, and impactful projects, providing tangible value to Lunar Outpost products. This internship offers a truly end-to-end experience that promotes collaboration at every stage of autonomous robotic development.

Working Conditions / Schedule: This position is required to be onsite Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Where applicable, employees may work remotely on Wednesdays from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Additional hours may be required based on business needs.
