Job summary

Lunar Outpost Inc. in Golden, Colorado, is seeking a Project Manager Intern to support planning, execution, and monitoring of spaceflight projects. You will work closely with our project management team and engineers on real, impactful projects.

This in-person internship runs early June 2027 through late August 2027, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, with start and end dates flexible around your school schedule. You will gain end-to-end experience in autonomous robotic development.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a STEM field.
• Familiar with project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Jira, Trello).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and the ability to work methodically in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and maintaining project schedules and timelines.
• Support project managers in tracking project progress and ensuring milestones are met.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to gather and allocate requirements.
• Prepare and distribute project documentation, including status reports, meeting minutes, and presentations.
• Participate in project meetings and provide administrative support.
• Help identify, track, and mitigate project risks.
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance organizational practices.

This internship offers a truly end-to-end experience that promotes collaboration at every stage of autonomous robotic development.
