Job summary

Lunar Outpost Inc. is seeking a Simulation Engineering Intern in Golden, CO to develop and refine simulation models for robotic systems.

You will work alongside full-time engineers on real projects, contributing to end-to-end simulation workflows from modeling to result analysis. The role requires studying computer science/engineering, experience with ROS2 and MATLAB/Simulink, and programming in C++, C#, or Python.

Qualifications

Job description

As a Simulation Engineering Intern at Lunar Outpost, you will play a crucial role in the development and enhancement of simulation models used to test our robotic systems under various scenarios. This internship will provide you with a comprehensive view of the simulation process in robotic systems development, from conceptual modeling to the detailed analysis of results. All interns will work directly alongside full-time engineers on real, engaging, and impactful projects, providing tangible value to Lunar Outpost products. This internship offers a truly end-to-end experience that promotes collaboration at every stage of autonomous robotic development.

This position is required to be onsite Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Where applicable, employees may work remotely on Wednesdays from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Additional hours may be required based on business needs.
