Job summary

Lunar Outpost in Golden, CO invites motivated interns to work alongside our full-time engineers on real, engaging projects in autonomous robotic development.

This in-person internship offers end-to-end exposure across development stages, with opportunities to contribute, learn, and collaborate across disciplines.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field
• Experience with NodeJS and React
• Experience with Python
• Experience with relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL
• Understanding of Unit testing, Test-Driven Development, and mocking frameworks
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and the ability to work methodically in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Can effectively demonstrate communication and interpersonal skills, while also excelling in collaboration and teamwork in an interdisciplinary environment
• Exhibits strong organizational and time management skills under pressure and in stressful situations
• Fueled by a passion for space exploration and the boundless possibilities beyond our world
• Experience with AWS services (S3, dynamodb, lambda)
• Previous experience working on mission control software

Early-June (June 7, 2027) to late August (August 20, 2027). Start and end dates are flexible with the intern's school schedule. This is an in-person internship; Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM in Golden, Colorado.
