Invenergy LLC in Chicago seeks a Senior Manager of Thermal Contracts to negotiate EPC, BT, and major equipment supply contracts for thermal projects, aligning terms with project budgets, schedules, and risk. You will lead negotiations and collaborate with procurement, engineering, and finance to reflect project requirements in contract documents.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in project development, management, or related roles in energy/infrastructure.
• Experience with construction, BT/DT, and EPC transactions across multiple power markets.
• Eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Support proposal evaluation with procurement and technical teams from a commercial perspective.
• Draft and negotiate EPC, BT, and major equipment supply contracts for tenders.
• Coordinate with bid teams to reflect project requirements in contract documents and identify commercial risks.
• Lead contract negotiations aligning terms with budgets, schedules, and risk profiles.
• Ensure exhibits/appendices are clear and compliant with project and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with controls and finance to monitor budgets, cash flow, and commodity exposure.
• Prepare materials for internal/external approvals and update senior management on progress.
