Job summary

Invenergy is seeking a Senior Manager of Thermal Contracts to lead commercial negotiations for EPC, Equipment Supply, and Build/Development Transfer agreements on thermal projects. You will organize complex risks, manage milestones, and coordinate with cross-functional teams to align contracts with project objectives.

Ideal candidates have 7+ years in project development/management in energy, strong experience in construction contracts, and US work eligibility.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in project development/management in energy, infrastructure, or utilities.
• Bachelor's and/or master's degree in business, finance, or engineering.
• Experience with construction agreements, EPC, BT/DT, and/or cross-market transactions.
• Eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Support proposal evaluation with procurement and technical teams from a commercial perspective.
• Draft and review EPC, BT, and major equipment supply contracts for tenders and vendor feedback.
• Coordinate with bid/procurement teams to reflect project and asset buyer requirements in contracts.
• Identify commercial risks in vendor proposals and develop mitigation strategies.
• Lead contract negotiations to align terms with project objectives and budgets.
• Ensure exhibits and appendices are clear and aligned with regulatory requirements.
• Monitor budgets, cash flow, and commodity exposure; forecast financial outcomes.
• Prepare materials for internal and external approvals for contract execution.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and construction teams on milestones.
• Provide regular reports on contract performance, progress, and risk areas.
• Support claims, disputes, and change orders arising during the project lifecycle.
