Job summary

Invenergy LLC, headquartered in Chicago, seeks a Thermal Contract Manager (Post-Execution) to oversee commercial and contractual aspects of thermal generation projects after award. The role centers on contract compliance, risk mitigation, and supporting delivery through robust contract administration.

Collaborate with PM, construction, engineering, legal, and finance; prior experience with thermal plants and EPC contracts is strongly preferred.

Qualifications

5+ years in project development, management, power origination, or business development in energy/utilities.
Bachelor's and/or master's degree in business, finance, or engineering.
Experience with Power Purchase Agreements, Build Transfer Agreements, Development Transfer Agreements, and EPC transactions across multiple power markets/tech.
Eligible to work in the United States without employer visa sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

Draft and negotiate EPC, BT, Equipment Supply Agreements, and major equipment contracts.
Ensure exhibits, appendices, performance guarantees, liquidated damages, and outages meet requirements before signature.
Manage post-execution EPC and major equipment contracts, ensuring compliance with obligations.
Serve as primary commercial contact with contractors and vendors during project execution.
Monitor schedule, cost, and technical requirements; track budgets with project controls and finance.
Coordinate change orders, price evaluations, and schedule impacts; support close-out activities.
