Job summary

Encompass Health is seeking a Therapy Team Leader in South Dakota to blend hands-on patient care with team leadership. You will evaluate patients, develop therapy plans, and mentor therapists, assistants, and technicians to deliver high-quality care.

The role requires a current PT/OT/SLP license, BLS CPR, and at least three years of discipline-specific experience, with leadership experience preferred. Clinical excellence and collaboration drive our daily work.

Qualifications

• Current state license as a PT, OT, or SLP required.
• BLS (CPR) required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Minimum three years discipline-specific experience.
• Leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient evaluations and develop therapy treatments.
• Supervise therapists, assistants, and technicians.
• Administer skilled therapy treatment and monitor patient response.
• Support staff development and performance management.
• Coordinate team tasks, paperwork, training, and schedules to achieve business goals.
• Drive continuous quality improvement.
