Job summary

Encompass Health in Sioux Falls seeks a Therapy Team Leader who will lead the therapy team while continuing to deliver hands-on patient care. You will supervise therapists and assistants, develop effective treatment plans, and mentor staff to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

The role emphasizes clinical excellence with team leadership, coordinating tasks and schedules, and driving quality improvements within a nationwide inpatient rehabilitation leader with local impact.

Qualifications

• Current state license as PT, OT, or SLP required.
• BLS (CPR) required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Minimum three years discipline-specific experience.
• Leadership experience preferred.
• Active on Therapy Clinical Ladder or specialty certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient evaluations and develop therapy treatments.
• Supervise therapists, assistants, and technicians.
• Administer skilled therapy treatment and monitor patient response.
• Support staff development and performance management.
• Coordinate team tasks, paperwork, training, and schedules to achieve business goals and objectives.
• Drive continuous quality improvement.
