Job summary

Encompass Health in Harrisburg, SD is seeking a Therapy Team Leader who balances hands-on patient care with team leadership, mentoring therapists and developing staff while maintaining clinical excellence.

You will evaluate patients, develop therapy plans, supervise therapists, assistants, and technicians, coordinate schedules, and drive continuous quality improvement across the therapy team. This role requires a current PT/OT/SLP license and leadership experience.

Qualifications

• Current state license as PT, OT, or SLP required.
• BLS (CPR) required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Minimum three years discipline-specific experience.
• Active on Therapy Clinical Ladder or specialty certification preferred.
• Leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient evaluations and develop therapy treatments.
• Supervise therapists, assistants, and technicians.
• Administer skilled therapy treatment and monitor patient response.
• Support staff development and performance management.
• Coordinate team tasks, paperwork, training, and schedules to achieve business goals and objectives.
