Job summary

Encompass Health is seeking a Therapy Team Leader who is a licensed PT, OT, or SLP to lead while continuing hands-on patient care. You will evaluate patients, develop therapy plans, and supervise therapists, assistants, and technicians to deliver high-quality outcomes.

The role emphasizes team development, performance management, and coordinating schedules and training to meet business goals in a nationwide inpatient rehabilitation setting.

Qualifications

• Current state license as a PT, OT, or SLP is required.
• BLS (CPR) certification is required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Minimum three years of discipline-specific experience.
• Active on Therapy Clinical Ladder (when eligible) or specialty professional certification preferred.
• Leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient evaluations and develop therapy treatments.
• Supervise therapists, assistants, and technicians.
• Administer skilled therapy treatment and monitor patient response.
• Support staff development and performance management.
• Coordinate team tasks, paperwork, training, and schedules to achieve business goals and objectives.
• Drive continuous quality improvement.
