Job summary

Ascension Saint Thomas West in Nashville seeks a licensed rehabilitation therapist to provide comprehensive physical therapy services within the Rehabilitation department. You will evaluate patients, design and update individualized care plans, and apply advanced PT techniques to promote recovery and functional independence.

You will lead and mentor PT assistants and students, ensuring high-quality care while collaborating with families and the care team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Master's or Doctorate degree preferred.
• BLS Provider within 1 month of hire, American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Licensed Rehab Therapist (RPT) credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Physical Therapy prior to hire date.
• Physical Therapy (PT) credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Physical Therapy prior to hire date.

• Establish and evolve personalized care plans that actively involve patients and their families in the recovery journey.

Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration

• Required Credential(s):
• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Licensed Rehab Therapist specializing in Physical Therapy (RPT) credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Physical Therapy obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Physical Therapy (PT) credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Physical Therapy prior to hire date or job transfer date.

Education

• Bachelor's degree required. Master's OR Doctorate degree preferred.
