Job summary

Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board is seeking a compassionate Therapeutic Recreation & Inclusion Supervisor to develop, implement, coordinate, supervise, and evaluate programs and staff. The role ensures services reflect national best practices in therapeutic recreation and inclusion aligned with the MPRB mission and goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Parks and Recreation Administration or closely related field with a specialty in Therapeutic Recreation.
• Five or more years of increasingly responsible experience leading therapeutic recreation programs and services.
• First Aid and CPR certifications required within one month of hire.

Responsibilities

• Develops, implements, plans, coordinates, supervises, and evaluates therapeutic recreation programs, services, and staff.
• Ensures programs meet national best practices of therapeutic recreation and inclusion.
• Coordinates with internal and external partners to support programming initiatives and goals.
