Job summary

Hoyleton Youth and Family Services seeks a Supervisor of the Therapeutic Foster Care Program to lead staff and Treatment Foster Parents, ensuring trauma-informed, permanency-focused services and DCFS-aligned documentation and crisis planning.

This role requires a Master’s degree in social work or related field, at least two years of supervisory experience with children and families, and Illinois CWEL licensure within 90 days.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in social work or related human services field is required.
• Minimum of two years supervisory experience serving children and families.
• Illinois DCFS Child Welfare Licensure (CWEL) must be obtained within the first 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Supervises, supports, trains, and evaluates assigned program staff; documents supervision and support.
• Provides direct guidance to Treatment Foster Parents and HYFS staff in home settings.
• Promotes family engagement and permanency planning within treatment teams.
• Leads referrals, safety planning, service planning, discharge planning, and program activities.
• Ensures CARE and TCI training is completed and applied by staff.
• Participates in on-call rotation for after-hours emergencies.
• Organizes Child and Family Team meetings, staffings, and court hearings.
