Job summary

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in social work or related field preferred.
• Bachelor's Degree with supervision by MSW or related field and at least two years' experience in foster care/out-of-home care.
• Licensure by DCFS or eligible for licensure.

Responsibilities

• Deliver clinical and case management services to foster children and families.
• Monitor placement of foster children through monthly home visits and respond to urgent issues.
• Develop service plans to achieve permanency and evaluate progress.
• Arrange services for birth parents and assure parent-child visitation and sibling contact.
• Maintain familiarity with DCFS policy and ensure compliance.
• Prepare for and participate in quarterly Child and Family Team meetings, court hearings, and reviews.
• Maintain case records in accordance with DCFS requirements.
• Arrange transportation for visits or other services.
• Attend trainings as required and provide after-hours emergency coverage.
