Job summary

UCAN Chicago seeks a Foster Care Clinical Supervisor to lead a Behavioral Health Services team delivering community-based psychotherapy in the Chicagoland area. The role involves supervising licensed clinicians, ensuring quality care, and coordinating program operations.

Qualifications include an MSW or equivalent, LCPC/LMFT/LCSW licensure, and 3+ years of supervisory experience in clinical settings. The position supports the wellbeing of children and families through trauma-informed practice

Qualifications

• MSW or MS/MA in a clinical Human Service field.
• Three (3) years supervisory experience.
• LCPC, LMFT, or LCSW required.
• Five to seven years experience in a clinical setting.
• Has an understanding of trauma-informed practice.
• Demonstrated clinical supervision skills.
• Open and respectful to diverse client populations.

Responsibilities

• Supervises daily activities of a unit of psychotherapists to ensure safe, clinically appropriate services.
• Monitors service delivery and contracts with subcontractors.
• Reviews and approves assessments, ITPs, and client reports for timeliness and accuracy.
• Provides regular individual clinical supervision to therapists.
• Develops clear ITP goals and addresses at-risk clients.
• Organizes training and performance reviews for staff.
• Coordinates programs and unit policies and procedures.
