Job summary

Imagine! in Colorado is seeking a compassionate Direct Support Professional to assist participants with daily living, transportation, and community access. You will follow Person Centered Plans and collaborate with a treatment team to promote safety, well-being, and independence.

Responsibilities include implementing behavior plans, documenting data, maintaining communication with families, and participating in training. Evening/weekend shifts may be required; physical lifting is possible.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated skill in working with people with developmental disabilities in community settings.
• Strong written and verbal communication with participants, guardians, and staff.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to meet driving requirements.

Responsibilities

• Promotes health, safety, and welfare of participants and supports daily living activities.
• Engages participants in therapeutic supports and behavior intervention plans as directed.
• Assists participants with transportation to community sites using various means.
• Completes timely documentation and communicates with the treatment team and families.
• Participates in required trainings and maintains professional relationships.
