Job summary

Imagine! is seeking a direct support/behavior support role in Colorado to promote the health and welfare of participants. You will engage in skilled interactions, support daily living activities, and transport participants to community sites as needed.

The position requires a high school diploma (2 years college preferred), a valid driver’s license, and the ability to complete required training. Evening/weekend work may be needed; company policies apply.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; 2 years college preferred.
• Ability and willingness to successfully complete required training curriculum.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to meet Imagine! driving requirements.
• Regular use of a personal mobile device such as a smartphone or tablet.
• 2 years of experience working with people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Promotes health, safety, and welfare of the participants.
• Engages in skilled interaction with participants who require therapeutic supports to replace aggressive or socially inappropriate behavior.
• Assists participants with daily living activities and transport to community sites.
• Documents and reports timely and accurately; completes paperwork per regulations.
• Collaborates with Behavior Therapists/BCBAs and treatment teams.
