Job summary

Qualifications

• Demonstrated skill in working with people with developmental disabilities.
• Ability to engage in skilled interaction with participants requiring therapeutic supports.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills with individuals and groups at all professional levels.
• Ability and willingness to travel within the community.
• Ability to lift and assist with mobility when needed.

Responsibilities

• Support participants in daily living activities.
• Transport participants to community sites using vans, buses, walking, etc.
• Implement individualized treatment/behavior plans under supervision of therapists.
• Document and report data timely and accurately per guidelines.
• Maintain respectful, professional relationships with participants, families, and staff.
